The Mississippi School Boards Association (MSBA) will host the annual Legislative Update & School Law Review on April 24-25, 2023 at the Hilton Jackson in Jackson, MS.
Attend the Legislative Update & School Law Review to find out about decisions of lawmakers in the 2023 Mississippi Legislature, recent court rulings locally and nationally, and changes in federal / state guidelines. This important annual meeting is designed especially for school board members, superintendents, board attorneys, and key central office administrators who work together to strategically plan for the next year and beyond.
CREDIT HOURS
Board members can earn up to nine (9) continuing education hours by attending the Monday, April 24, 2023 Early Bird and the Legislative Update & School Law Review on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
Attorneys can earn six (6) hours of CLE credit for the Tuesday, April 25, 2023 session only.
Superintendents and others with administrative licenses can earn up to five (5) SEMI credit hours.
Business officers can earn up to nine (9) continuing education hours.
REGISTRATION
Early Bird Seminar / Monday, April 24: $150 per person
Conference / Tuesday, April 25: $300 per person
Cancellations must be made by Wednesday, April 19, 2023 or your district
will be billed the full registration fee.
Changes to registrations (i.e. from in-person to virtual) must be made
by Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
